Ted Thompson, MD

Dr. Thompson is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He attended Howard University in Washington D.C. He received his Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1987. Dr. Thompson completed Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois. He completed training in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. He was the first to complete Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio in 1994. He earned a master’s in public health from The University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. Dr. Thompsoncompleted residency in Aerospace Medicine at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, NAS Pensacola, Florida in 2006.
